AIS East/Evergreen Honored by Education First

"Double-digit growth in a single year is an accomplishment," said Evergreen Elementary Principal Stephane Bordelon in a recent email to ACSC administrators.

Mrs. Bordelon was referring to the fact that Avon Intermediate School East — now Evergreen Elementary — was honored for student scores during the school's participation in last year's ILEARN through-year assessment pilot. 

According to Education First, the organization leading the program, "We are proud that the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) highlighted our innovative approach in a new case study.
